The Bendigo Gold Raiders have officially made their mark, joining the prestigious ranks of the Victorian Bowls League (VBL) as an exciting new franchise in the competition. This marks a transformative moment for the Franchise, offering a unique offering - our mission is to showcase Bendigo on the big stage, with team members being recruited from a variety of Bendigo Clubs, as well as a Marque player from outside of Victoria.

As a proud representative of Bendigo's rich sporting heritage, we are determined to compete with Victoria's finest and bring honour to our members, partners, and supporters.

The VBL competition features live-streamed matches, giving us an incredible platform to showcase our talent to a broad audience across the region, state and national stage.  As we embark on this thrilling new chapter, we're bringing strong local Bendigo connections to the competition, demonstrating our commitment to representing our community at the highest level of lawn bowls.

Our Inaugural VBL Team - 2025

August 2025 - The Bendigo Gold Raiders have secured their spot in the finals of the Victorian Bowls League (VBL), marking a proud achievement in their inaugural season. The team will now compete for the championship at the prestigious Moama Bowls Club on 29 and 30 August.

 

This milestone not only highlights the Raiders’ talent and determination but also showcases the strength of Bendigo’s bowls community, uniting players and supporters in their quest for success on the state stage.
